Onam celebration at Bishop Hodges Higher Secondary School

The Onam celebration at Bishop Hodges Higher Secondary School was an absolute delight. I had the honor of being invited by Mrs. Shalini to serve as one of the judges for the day's competitions. Alongside Ms. Aleena and the well-known actor and model Ms. Remya Krishnan, I judged several lively events, including the punchiri malasaram, solo song competitions for both boys and girls, and the group song competition. The atmosphere was filled with joy, laughter, and festive spirit.

One of the highlights was the traditional Onam sadhya we enjoyed for lunch, which featured two varieties of delicious payasam. It was a delightful feast, rich in flavors and tradition. The experience of judging the events and sharing the day with such talented individuals was wonderful. It was also a refreshing break from my usual teaching practice, allowing me to embrace the celebratory mood of Onam. A day well spent, filled with fun, cultural pride, and memorable moments!
