"Salud "College Day

On a bright and eventful day, the college hosted its much-anticipated College Day. The event was filled with insightful speeches, meaningful exchanges, and delightful cultural presentations, all organized to recognize and commemorate the efforts of the union body.

The program commenced with an invocation by the College Choir, setting a harmonious and respectful tone for the proceedings. Following this, the Welcome Speech was delivered by Dr. Alie Molly Verghis, the esteemed Principal, who warmly greeted the guests, faculty, and students.

The Presidential Address was taken up by Adith Rajesh, the College Union Chairman. He spoke with conviction about the union's mission and the responsibilities the team holds in enhancing student life, setting the stage for an inspiring program.

The highlight of the day was undoubtedly the Inauguration and Keynote Address delivered by Shri. Kodikunnil Suresh, Hon’ble Member of Parliament. His speech emphasized the importance of student leadership and the role of educational institutions in shaping future leaders. His insights were not only motivating but also reinforced the values of dedication and service that the College Union embodies.

After the keynote, Jishnu M, the College Union General Secretary, presented the much-awaited College Union Report. The report was a comprehensive reflection of the union’s initiatives, achievements, and upcoming plans, demonstrating their commitment to fostering a vibrant and engaging campus environment.

The ceremony also included heartfelt Felicitations by several key figures:

  • Dr. Mumthas S, Assistant Professor
  • Shri. Biju David, Non-teaching representative
  • Naveena N Sarma, a second-year student, who spoke on behalf of the student community.

Each shared words of appreciation for the union's hard work and dedication, applauding the collective efforts in making the academic year successful thus far.

The formal ceremony was brought to a close with a Vote of Thanks from Roshin Panicker, the College Horticulture secretary. He expressed his gratitude to the guests, faculty, and students for their participation and support in making the event a grand success.

The day wasn’t over yet—cultural events followed, adding a vibrant and colorful flair to the ceremony. From music to dance performances, these events highlighted the diverse talents of the student body and left everyone feeling joyous and united.
