Field Trip Semester-2

 Field trip to Thiruvananthapuram

Thiruvananthapuram (TVM), the capital of Kerala, boasts a mix of cultural, historical, and modern attractions. The Thiruvananthapuram Zoo, one of the oldest in India, is part of a sprawling complex that also houses the Napier Museum, renowned for its Indo-Saracenic architecture and collection of artifacts, including bronze idols, ancient ornaments, and ivory carvings. For a contemporary experience, Lulu Mall offers a vast shopping destination with a range of international brands, dining options, and entertainment facilities. Shankumukham Beach, located near the city’s airport, is a popular spot for its long stretches of white sand, scenic sunsets, and the iconic Jalakanyaka (Mermaid) sculpture. Together, these sites encapsulate the diverse experiences Thiruvananthapuram has to offer, blending history, culture, nature, and modernity.
